Blast on the Bridge at Geist

This is not your “normal” Independence Day Celebration! While offering the traditional fireworks display in the later evening hours, the boat parade is something unusual.
The Geist Lake Coalition, an organization of volunteers, produced another great event this year.
Food, drink and refreshment vendor were set up along the bridge to provide treats for the hungry and thirsty festival attendees. There were also informative booths. They offered enlightenment and education regarding special causes.
Geist Reservoir in Indianapolis, Indiana, U.S., is named after Clarence Geist, a former owner of the Indianapolis Water Company. The reservoir was completed in 1943. Today it is surrounded by many luxurious neighborhoods.
This is a fun event and would be well worth attending next year!

1. If you have a JAVA enabled browser, you can click on the blue/red icon in the upper left corner above each image. This will open a new browser window with a left and right image. It will default to a CROSSEYE view. By using the menu items in that window, you may select how you would like to see the image, what size you prefer, and other preferences. If you are not familiar with viewing 3d images, it would be best to start with a smaller view than the default. It may be best to decrease the view by more than 50% until you are comfortable viewing 3d, then you can increase the size to a larger image.
2. Click on the links above the image for either PARALLEL or CROSSEYE views. This will open a new window with side by side images in the proper format. For the beginner, these images will probably be too large for the brain to fuse into 3d. If so, shrink your browser window by dragging the right side to make it smaller. (HINT: You can not resize your browser window if it is in full screen mode.)
3. If your browser does not support JAVA, you should see a normal photo image.
